- SahAssar 6y agoSimilar for the 68k to PPC transition, 1996 was the last year for the powerbook 190s, the last 68k, and MacOS 8.5 (which required PPC) was released 1998 (to the month 2 years later). So going by history we can expect 2-3 years, with a sample size of 2.
