I often see AGI being discounted based on machines lacking expressiveness. Of course, text isn't as complex as human expression (I assume?), but isn't that how we're communicating right now? I think it's expected to assume each other have General Intelligence. If so, wouldn't it be unfair to hold machines to a higher standard?
