Blocking content is absolutely pointless, and ironically increases demand. Circumventing controls and doing something you shouldn't is exciting. Personally I don't have a problem with porn and I'd rather not see this used as a way to weasel in real id verification systems into websites which I think is the real motivation here. Next it will require real id for comment forums to quell "hate speech", and then eventually to identify dissenters and other utopian pursuits.
