- divbzero 6y agoAre time-driven release cycles really the best option for mature languages and platforms? Instead, shouldn’t we value stability and drive releases based on new functionality? If there’s no new functionality, there’s no need to force obsolescence by incrementing major versions based on a fixed time table.
