Do I understand correctly that this is a way to make sure the trademarks for the projects can be used in similar open fashion as the code itself? My understanding: Typically the trademarks are not covered by the open source license. If the software is licensed under Apache license, I can use the software to power my cloud business, but I might not be entitled to use the project's trademark in my marketing.
