As a Portland State donor, I'm disappointed at PSU's refusal to back legitimate scientific inquiry. Sending bogus garbage to journals occasionally is a reasonable way to test that peer-review systems are working. The events I normally donate to support are canceled due to the pandemic, though, so I probably wouldn't donate anyway. Guess I can't really take a moral stance here.
