Ask HN: Thoughts on TikTok?
- vasara 6y agoStill the source of some of the most entertaining and enjoyable clips out there! I've heard someone on Reddit has been trying to smear it with claims of data collection, something that has not been proven against TikTok but sufficiently proven against Facebook and everyone else involved in PRISM. Personally I think the user on reddit doing this is an agent of the Indian government. As for the users I don't think that's going anywhere. People looking for fun don't care who owns the software, whether it's open source, what it's collecting. If the content is there, they are there.
