They want to things: 1) to work with people just as qualified, including managers who are just as qualified at managing (a rare unicorn in the IT sector) 2) not having roadblocks for doing good work. This includes being kept in the dark, micro-management, simplistic "all employees have exactly same computer" policies, workplaces that makes concentration difficult due to e.g. noise or splatter of meetings, weird requirements which can't be discussed at all and doesn't make sense.
