It seems that there is a movement that values "sensitivity" more than understanding. How does this so-called progress lead to greater understanding?
- senthil_rajasek 6y agoAhhh it allows minorities feel welcome, more involved and free to be themselves. It certainly was a relief for me ( I am a dark Indian) when SQLServer went from master/slave to publisher/subscriber. I don't have to second guess intonations when people say master/slave as a sly joke or a sincere discussion in tech meetings.
