- Roboprog 16y agoThat would be my bet, especially since Java, especially since 1.1, reminded me so much of [Turbo] Pascal in C++ clothing, so it only seems natural to borrow another Pascal-ism. But Pascal stole from Algol. Nothing new under the sun...
