Managers always have a means of gauging progress: asking the people doing the work.
- MaxBarraclough 6y agoTrue enough. I should have said it's not an unreasonable thing for a manager to look at. It's not that it would be impossible to get by without management looking at git commits, and as you indicate, it's not a substitute for communication.
