In what way is taxation slavery?

- drummer 6y agoTaxation is slavery because it is forced ultimately at gunpoint. The government basically claims ownership of a significant part of (the fruits of) your labor. You cannot refuse, which makes you their slave, having to do what they dictate. A 'citizen' is essentially another word for property of the state, i.e. a slave. In the future they'll probably also object to the use of that word like they do for master/slave, not realizing the names change but the result stays the same.
