*I would hire somebody who would have a really passionate, tricky hobby before I hired somebody who had a PhD in the subject. Hobbies are more important in today’s world than degrees.*
- panelss 6y agoIn practise, this is bullshit. Maybe back in the 70s, but now the tech industry machination is so robotic and massive that you will never even get to know your employer before they've already thrown you out for being under-qualified.
