I have no actual idea about the state of the AI industry, but I was under the impression IBM was doing pretty well there, as well as in quantum computing R&D. But that's based largely on the obvious products they provide in those fields. I don't think I'd miss Oracle if they ceased to exist tomorrow, though. Aside from VirtualBox.
