Shorting Facebook: FB 210p 7/10
- xfour 6y ago2:10pm 7/10/2020?
- qvrjuec 6y agoI think he means he's buying put options at 210 expiring on 7/10
- greenshackle2 6y agoDon't know if you're joking, but it's Facebook put option with strike price of $210 expiring on 7/10, in other words, betting that the stock price of FB will be less than $210 by July 10 - current price is $235, so that would be down ~10%.

- anm89 6y agoIs it really necessary to announce that you've taken a specific position. Should we all layout all of our related positions on every post about a company? This doesn't belong here.
- djohnston 6y agoI think it's good to disclose financial interests if you're making a point about a company, like disclosing if you are an employee.
- sfpoet 6y agoI'm putting my money where my mouth is. No, not necessary; contingent. No, we shouldn't all lay out positions. Given how much hacker news has been gamed lately, this does belong here.
- anm89 6y agoSo then say your short. Why do I need know at what strike price you bought at? This isn't wall street bets.
- sfpoet 6y ago"So then say you're short. Why do I need to know at what strike price you bought at? This isn't r/WallStreetBets." I guess asshole that can't spell runs strong in Colorado.
- tick_tock_tick 6y agoHope you sell those soon before you lose it all.
