That's right. Although based on some quick Googling Jeff Bezos owns 11% of Amazon which has a market cap of $1.4 trillion. So Bezos has generated about $1.2 trillion of wealth for other people.
- therealdrag0 6y agoThat's a good alternative perspective. But IMO it's still worth pointing out that it's not JUST Besos, it's him AND everyone else who has worked at Amazon since it was founded. There's 10000x more man hours and brain power that have gone into that company than just Besos himself. A lot of people busting their ass to produce that value.
