- amscanne 6y agoAre you talking about the CERB? Canada didn’t give it to everyone, you had to apply but the CRA essentially approved every application immediately. Then, surprise surprise, there was rampant fraud (8 million Canadians applied and received CERB). So they announced that they will be auditing many applications and asking for it back, potentially adding fines for egregious cases.
