- post_break 6y agoOne has strict emission regulations. The other is whatever goes just be quiet. I’ll take the truck generator over the tailgate generator any day.
- smileysteve 6y agoRunning a 400hp motor to generate 4hp (3kw) is definitely not remotely the correct fit.
- avalys 6y ago1. This is not a response to the climate crisis. 2. Ford is working on an electric F150. 3. The amount of fuel consumed is negligible compared to actually operating the vehicle in the first place. Using every little thing as a reason to interject “What about the climate crisis!?!”, no matter how irrelevant it may be to the actual problem, is just going to lead to exhaustion and make it more likely that people will ignore the issue entirely in domains where it actually does matter.
- senthil_rajasek 6y agoTrucks reducing emissions, matter however "little". BTW, How do you quantify "little"?
