The Trump Administration Just Furloughed 13,400 Immigration Workers
- tickedoff2020 6y agoI'm raging at anyone who is supporting the covid lockdown right now. USCIS was closed for over 3 months and just now opened up for "emergencies". We can argue later about how incredibly incompetent that agency is but for now I'm just insanely pissed at all your lockdown supporters. Now 70% of their workforce is getting fired (let's be real they aren't bringing them back). All these pro-lockdown people think there are no consequences here - you are quite literally ripping families apart - MINE INCLUDED. Not a single day goes by on my linkedin where I don't see another H1 that was in a layoff as well. They're not going to get shit. USCIS is being used as a political weapon because you all are embracing this lockdown shit. Stop pretending lockdowns are a good thing and I will smack the shit out of the next person that tells me to wear a mask.
- wearamaskplz 6y agoWear a mask, please.
- bradknowles 6y agoIf you want to rage at anyone, try raging at the criminally incompetent administration that has led to tens of thousands of unnecessary additional deaths, and the way they have committed crimes against humanity from the day this pandemic started.
- masonic 6y agoClickbaity title. They weren't "just furloughed", they were just notified of a pending furlough five weeks from now. This is required because there is no money to pay them with fees frozen because travel is frozen, and Pelosi hasn't appropriated replacement funding.
