- mthoms 6y agoTikTok is controlled by an authoritarian dictatorship engaged in a war against Western/Democratic values and human rights.
- mateus1 6y agoMany around of the world see the US also an authoritarian state with little regard for human rights.
- verdverm 6y agoMany also ask the US for assistance and see it as a guiding light. A lot of people are upset about the visa changes, there's a reason for that, yes?
- Tiltowait-- 6y agoWho??? Who sees the US as a "guiding light"? Nobody, that's who. I don't know if you've been paying attention to the news, but the US' reputation is in the toilet. Racism, murder, death. That's not a good model for the world. >A lot of people are upset about the visa changes, This is because the US exploited and ruined their countries, and they're desperate to get anywhere they can make some money to support their village. A single worker can support 40+ people on a single IT salary. Contrast this to selfish Americans who just blow the money on something stupid like a boat or a trip to Vegas.
