I learned so much about Yo-Yos from my Klutz book as a kid. It's STILL on my shelf... although the wooden yo-yo that came with it is long gone.

- dole 6y agoThat Klutz wooden yo-yo may well have been the secret sauce to learning, my cousins and I all bought the Klutz book mostly for it. Duncan Imperials are thinner and the de facto standard for yo-yos, Butterflies are good for tricks but a little unwieldly, but the Klutz was a happy medium between the two and perfect for beginners and we always wound up falling back to it.
