SV is largely white and male, with a lot of strange crossover - but mainly, white, and male, Trump's biggest supporting demographic. There is also this demographic of "bro-science" white males, listening to Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, these "intellectual" type conservatives, and believe pretty much anything they hear out of them. This article is inline with that - and because it is "high-brow", it particularly works on here, unlike, say, a Rush Limbaugh soundbite. Having said that, I liked the article. It makes some good points - I think there is dissatisfaction in general with our current time, from both sides. I think both are trying to identify that problem, and it's important to see how it is viewed from both sides. There's just a certain, "schizophrenia," of our time right now, which I think the article highlights.
