That's weird, every property I've ever rented from required that the security deposit be paid in a money order.
- Waterluvian 6y agoIt varies a lot by class and region. I’ve never needed anything other than a first and last month cheque.
- mrtnmcc 6y agoFor what it's worth, I've been asked for MO for a rental deposit in the Midwest, but never on the two coasts.
