As you grow to better understand the interpersonal dynamics between you and other people w.r.t. race it'll be the same as learning how best to communicate with old, or disabled, or femme, or masculine people without offending them. It's not hard, just new. You're not crazy, just inexperienced. All we should do is keep trying to get better at it.
