People buy horrible prescription opiates generally with no recourse to the legal system, and that's legal.

  It's not adulterated drugs. There have been no allegations that the opiates were not the chemicals they were advertised as being.

    They were falsely advertised as non-addictive, and they were prescribed by bribed doctors violating their fiduciary duty to their patients.

      The false advertising and bribery is illegal, and they are being pursued by the court system both criminally and civilly.
