- user_50123890 6y ago? Nuclear accidents don't come out of thin air, they are caused by humans, some countries/areas have higher risks of accidents, and most areas have zero risk. Russia is definitely a high risk area (if not THE high risk area), considering their soviet legacy of ancient nuclear power plants etc.
