I heard there were problems with build / coil whine when I last bought a laptop back in 2018. I wanted to run Ubuntu as the primary OS .. ended up choosing a ThinkPad. Still certified for Ubuntu, and the fact it came with a Window's license was a benefit for the few times I've needed to use Win10.
