Some kids playing with the Xbox or people at the counter getting help seemed to be the extent of traffic the past couple of years. Exactly my experience last I visited. It seemed like the goal of the stores was misconceived from the start... like the purpose was to coax Surface into being a successful product, rather than build up a real store business of its own.
