- Forbo 6y agoI don't know why this is being downvoted, I think it's a perfectly valid point. The entire basis of BLM protests is about use of police violence against black people. If I were black and think I'm more likely to get the shit beat out of me (pepper-balled, rubber bulleted, tear gassed, etc.) at a protest I'm more likely to avoid it entirely. Edit: On reflection, maybe the downvote was more about the tone that it was presented in?
