All the worry about saving the environment is really a worry about preserving the viability of urban/suburban lifestyles.
- dv_dt 6y agoRural lifestyles are significantly impacted by increased fires, drought, heat, flooding - in particular farming is directly impacted by reduced yields and increased disasters.

- quercus 6y agoThanks for stating the obvious, Sherlock. My point is: the WORRY about climate change is mostly focused on urbanism. The loudest voices come from the city. These people have a weak connection to nature aside from the occasional hike and holiday. The mostly worry about their cities going underwater. Country folks are used to dealing with the unpredictability of nature and are more likely to find a way to adapt.
