While it's good to have some data I would be careful with the assumptions. E.g. is 3 years a long enough time horizon? There are also very different kinds of private equity, with the bain-like 'activist investors' the most notorious for their practices. So while many might not be so bad, there are also others that are just known for their semi-legal exploitative practices.
