Oh wow. Wowowow. This actually worked:
Open the developer console and paste this in:
var context = new AudioContext();
var videos = document.getElementsByTagName("video");
var audioElement = context.createMediaElementSource(videos[0]);
context.destination.channelCount = 1;
audioElement.connect(context.destination);
The audio will now be in both channels.

- sidpatil 6y agoHmm, not sure what issue you were having. I already hear the audio in both channels without that script.
- quietbritishjim 6y agoI had the same issue. Do you actually get stereo output on your device e.g. with this test video [1]? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TWJaFD6R2s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TWJaFD6R2s
- bogwog 6y agoThe first ~2-3 minutes only have audio in one channel
- exikyut 6y agoOh. My ears weren't going to wait to find out. (I needed to raise the one remaining channel to an uncomfortable level to hear properly.)
- NyxWulf 6y agoThank you, that is handy, the audio in one channel happens often enough that it's nice to have a fix.
- Timpy 6y agoCool snippet, I had the same problem and this fixed it
- nitin_flanker 6y agoI was also facing this issue but I think it was just the early parts of the video. The sound was stereo again after the first clip change.
