I agree that some years back it (FB) was way more engaging and meaningful. It's certainly changed for the worse over the years. Regarding Instagram, I never thought about it in this way, and now that you mention it, perhaps that is why out of the 3 x services I talked about, this one was the least worrysome for me. Restricting reposting does seem to be pretty key to keeping content at a higher 'quality'.
