I agree entirely with your sentiment, but this > now word in the cloud kinda works! is the overstatement of the century. I am stuck with this horrendous product, with its unbelievably bad live collaboration which constantly overwrites what other people are doing, its terrible SSO implementation, its penchant for presenting the least navigable UI I have ever had the misfortune to experience... Google Docs has stagnated, I agree, Office is light years away from having its seamless sync.
