- jrockway 6y agoMedium has a very weird paywall where you are rewarded for clearing your tracking cookies after every visit. They strongly encourage you to sign in, and if you do, it will say "you're out of free articles". But if you sign out and clear cookies, you get to read the article for free. I guess this is better than "you don't have an account, no article for you!" but it still strikes me as odd.
