Cool project! You posted a comparison to Clickhouse on the front page. Do you have any insights on how QuestDB compares performance-wise to PrestoDB?
Also, PrestoDB is known to be manageable at scale, for example as part AWS Athena. What are you thoughts on building out an Athena-like service using QuestDB?

- TheTank 6y agoWe will definitely make QuestDB distributed in the near future. Today, our focus is to extract the maximum performance out of a single node. If we start scaling out too early, it may become harder to improve performance after the fact. So all improvements we get today are foundational: they will have multiplicative effects once you start to scale out.
