Ever tried to sell something to a committee? I don't mean this to be disrespectful but it's not as simple as it sounds. Especially, if the committee is clueless (or in disagreement) about the usual questions: What do you want? What do you need? What goals should be accomplished? It even gets more tricky if membership for the committee is not well defined.
