I've worked with some people from whom you simply cannot get answers to multiple questions through e-mail. You get one sentence addressing the simplest interpretation of the simplest interrogative clause across the body of the message and as far as they're concerned it's off their to-do list. For these people I need to physically impose my presence (or at least heavy breathing over audio) to elicit the minutes of time spent on task required to obtain the information I need.
