The WFH novelty has worn off and now it just sucks. Living in an apt that feels like a prison. I realize my only real friends I see are colleagues so now I see no one except for family. At the same time I really wish I had some time by myself away from the family. School holidays are making this worse as kids have nothing to do and I'm too busy working to help. Putting on weight, losing fitness. Can't visit extended family because they're all in other countries. Uncle diagnosed with terminal cancer, can't see him either. My employer is slowly failing. I wanted a new job this year but have put it off until the job market recovers. The worst thing is it looks like it'll be like this for another year, ugh.
