I'm all for quality investigative reporting, but that is not something that 99% of journalists do. I've been interviewed by journalists a few times and I've seen at least a half-dozen other people be interviewed. The articles published are totally disconnected from what was actually said. Heck, I've had a journalist make up a quote and attribute it to me. Don't talk to journalists. If you must, record everything.
