A simile is a metaphor.
- sorbus 16y agoNo, it's a figure of speech. A metaphor is also a figure of speech, but similes are not a subtype of metaphors (I went to look it up both before my last statement and before this one, because I refuse to believe my own memory. You might want to do the same).
