I usually end up turning off the motion and turning on increased contrast, reduced transparency etc. These things demo nicely but I didn't like windows with transparency effects when Windows Vista did it and I feel the same way today. I care about what's in the window not under it. I do think the Safari updates look great, though. Webkit may have its governance issues and so forth, but Safari is really a wonderful app to use imo.
