- smt88 6y agoWhy? It was a likely-fatal medical condition. It was impossible to bring to term and produce a healthy baby. "Caught" implies that we discovered the pregnancy before it progressed into a more dangerous phase. "It" refers to the pregnancy. Humans may want to see meaning in certain rapidly-growing clusters of cells, but that doesn't make them less dangerous if they're growing in the wrong part of the body.
