It gives ammunition to those pushing the idea that Silicon Valley homelessness is the “natural order” rather than the direct result of bad policies by those living here. There’s more than enough land to solve the issue, it’s just that it would mean people who already own homes would have to make some minor sacrifices that’s they’re not willing to make.
