I am not exactly sure how this would help people working in tech (and other tech related areas like business analysts, PM's etc.,) This makes it easy for companies to outsource work. When all employees are remote what's the value in bringing someone onshore? And once jobs are outsourced I don't think they will come back. So this could be marginally beneficial for onshore workers or it could be very bad.
