- yjftsjthsd-h 6y agoYeah, but we're not talking malice here, we're just talking about what to do when your own alias doesn't work. (Although the general note is still valid)
- Operyl 6y agoYup, I understand. Just leaving the note by so others don't put two and two together on something else in a bad way :).
- bitwize 6y agoThe real WTF is that Linux is the least secure desktop OS of 2020, still lacking the basic code signing and sandboxing features that Windows and macOS have.
- michaelmrose 6y agoIsn't that valid for software installed from those platforms respective app stores which is to say almost no software on either platform you are likely to install. On Linux one could use firejail, qubes, selinux to contain software you are already running to at least some degree.
