Sir Joseph Swan was an early inventor of the lightbulb (he, like Edison wasn’t the first, but his was earlier than Edison). Swan had moderate success with his lightbulb, but Edison’s proved to be superior in the market and ultimately won. In that analogy, I think Luna is Sir Joseph Swan and Apple is Edison.
