This paper , "Genome-wide association studies: the good, the bad and the ugly" : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4952840/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4952840/ claims "the vast majority of associations identified by GWASs are extremely robust statistically and are reproducible in additional studies.".
