I agree with you, 1080p on a 23-24" screen is great for programming. I have a Acer Predator X34P at home (34" ultrawide 1440p @ 120hz), and for games it is AMAZ

I agree with you, 1080p on a 23-24" screen is great for programming. I have a Acer Predator X34P at home (34" ultrawide 1440p @ 120hz), and for games it is AMAZING. But for programming? I prefer 2-3x 1080p at around 23-24".
In the last 3 months I went from 1 screen to 2 to 3 as I progressed through particular stages of development. When we 'go live' I'll easily be using all 3, but I don't _really_ need them, it's a nice to have.
