A tangent: I wonder if a ReactJS-like rerendering could be used as a declarative alternative to schema migrations.
- Kinrany 6y agoHmm, I guess that's "State-based database delivery/migrations". I couldn't find much about them though.

- andreareina 6y agoAlembic works with SQLAlchemy to do some limited diffing between the live schema and what's in the code. In general I prefer to build the migrations by hand based on the code diffs.
